Do biometric attendance systems work with masks and glasses?
Yes. Modern face terminals (Suprema BioStation 3, ZKTeco SpeedFace-V5L) read reliably with surgical masks, N95s, glasses and beards. If face fails, palm-vein or fingerprint backfills on the same terminal.
Is biometric attendance legal in the UAE?
Yes. Biometric attendance is used across UAE government, banking, healthcare, education and private industry. Federal Decree-Law 45/2021 (PDPL) sets the personal-data rules; we enrol under the employer's lawful basis and store templates (not raw images), encrypted at rest.
What happens if the biometric device is damaged?
Every terminal is warrantied for two years; replacement units ship inside 24 hours. Data is stored on the server (cloud or on-premise), not on the terminal, so no attendance records are lost when a device is swapped.
Is the export WPS-compliant?
Yes. The software exports worked hours, overtime and absences in a format your payroll and WPS SIF process consumes. We test the export against a live payroll run at handover, before the team leaves.
Which hardware brands do you supply?
We are an authorised supplier for Suprema (South Korea) and ZKTeco (China). Suprema is our default for enterprise and regulated environments; ZKTeco for cost-sensitive and volume rollouts.
